Harbin
Upon arriving in Harbin you will be met at the arrival hall by your WildChina guide and driver • Get the lay of the land as you transfer to your hotel and spend the evening at your leisure.
Harbin's bright lights don't shine from the city, they fill the sky in celebration of the world's largest ice and snow festival. Using ice hauled from the frozen river by over 10,000 workers and featuring sculptures reaching 35m tall, winter transforms China's Northeast into a spectacular frozen wonderland.
Wrap up warm and get your camera ready for the ice festival of all ice festivals. Picture-perfect snow scenes, a kaleidoscope of glistening color and record-breaking sculptures (including a full-sized steam train) awaits. Join the locals and lace up your skates on Harbin's famous frozen river, get acquainted with city's Russian past and chow down on some of the region's most delicious, belly-warming cuisine.
